— Released 21st August 2019 on Counter Records

Producer TSHA is coming up fast. Entirely self-taught, she released her debut EP “Dawn” in 2018, setting out her stall as an artist with an ear for warm, groove-laden basslines and bright, melodic hooks. Her follow-up single “Sacred” - released in 2019 - immediately caught the ear of Simon Green aka Bonobo, who included it on his “fabric presents” compilation album, with TSHA also finding a fan in George FitzGerald who supported ‘Sacred’ on his BBC R1 Residency show.

Characterised by her irrepressible energy and a thirst to learn and immerse herself in the culture, TSHA held a monthly residency on London’s Worldwide FM and has several guest slots on Rinse FM under her belt to date. Honing her DJ craft at Fabric (for the Bonobo “fabric presents” album launch), Phonox (supporting George FitzGerald and Maribou State) and numerous festivals including All Points East, Sziget, We Out Here and Lost Village. This autumn she returns to Printworks with Hunee, Antal and Motor City Drum Ensemble and is scheduled to play three of The Warehouse Project’s new Mayfield Depot events including the opening weekend as well as both the Annie Mac and Mura Masa showcases.

Deftly balancing melody, emotion, weight and groove - just listen to the shuffling breakbeats, lilting steel drum motif and rumbling subs on lead single ‘Moon’ - the tracks collected on “Moonlight” are imbued with incredible detail and highlight an artist bursting with potential.
